We began implementing IC in February 2024. The onboarding was both comprehensive and highly supportive.
Our decision to move to IC was driven by Anchor’s strong commitment to improving efficiency through thoughtful system development, enabling us to spend less time on administration and more time on what truly matters, providing safety, stability and hope for the children we care for, and strengthening the meaningful relationships we build with our foster families.
Although the process to exploit IC’s full capabilities is ongoing, even at this early stage the system proved invaluable during our recent Ofsted inspection, helping us to evidence practice clearly and confidently. We are proud to have achieved Outstanding, and IC played a valuable part in helping us demonstrate the quality, consistency, and depth of our work.
Anchor’s approach, paired with the capability of IC, continues to reinforce our belief that this was the right decision for our service, our foster families, and most importantly, the children and young people we support.

We had a complex task of switching two agencies with different platforms to Intuitivecare. We decided to make the jump to Intuitivecare for two main factors. Firstly, the quality of the software, which has been born out as expected, including the effective oversight and usability of the system. Our foster carers really enjoy using Intuitivecare, and are very happy with the switch over.
The 2nd main reason was the person and service-centred approach that Rob and Dean, the founders, bring to the service. They have held our hands through the whole journey, consistently providing solutions and support, to both our teams and foster carers. This positive relationship continues now, as we come to the end of our first year with IC.

We have been working with the IC team for the last 18 months. Being unhappy with our original case management system we were looking around for alternatives and, based on experience, we didn’t want any of the usual contenders. We wanted a system that did some of the legwork for us so that social workers could spend more time with children and families and less time on laborious admin and reporting tasks. Having set up a new registration in the north and come across Intuitivecare (great name – does what it says on the tin!) we decided to pilot it. Over the next 12 months the team and the system lived up to their promises. Knowing the founders are from fostering – from setting up a service to inspecting with Ofsted – we knew the system had been built with the users in mind. And that, along with the intuitive technology, has made all the difference to our staff and our families. The pilot was a success and we have recently rolled it our across all our services. The team have been faultless with their support throughout the migration and onboarding process and their ‘can do’ approach to adaptions or developments so it fully aligns with our therapeutic model has been fantastic.
We are in our first year of migrating to IC and it has genuinely changed the way we understand our organisation and its data. It has streamlined dozens of processes, allowing real time access to essential information at all levels. The IC team have been responsive and helpful and have always appeared engaged in a journey of improvement with us, always being able to bridge the gap from IT solution to end user experience. Our inspection experience has also backed this up, receiving excellent feedback from Inspectors. .
Intuitivecare has been fantastic for our agency. It provides an efficient and user friendly way to manage our recording, track progress and ensure we are keeping clear and focused records. The dashboard is easy to navigate and is designed with the user in mind. Foster carers have reported how much they prefer using the app and this is reflected in the high quality of their recordings.
Before Intuitivecare we were paper-based and the transition to the system was so easy and manageable. Rob, Dean and the team are always on hand when needed and nothing is too much trouble for them. They always allow us to share our ideas and take onboard what will work for us as an agency.
